Waterloo Euclid Math Contest Results are in!

Congratulations go out to Brendan Carroll, our medal winner, for having the top score in our school. Brendan also achieved in the Top 25% of Canada. Honourable mention goes out to Brent Hughson and Natalie Munn for having the 2nd and 3rd highest scores in our school. Well done to everyone that participated. Full results are posted on the Math Office door (Room 205).

"Founded in 1995, the CEMC has become Canada’s largest and most recognized outreach organization for promoting and creating activities and materials in mathematics and computer science. Initially, the Centre operated as the Canadian Mathematics Competition running math contests since the 1960s within the University of Waterloo's Faculty of Mathematics. Today, the CEMC has expanded its activities to include additional highly acclaimed contests, web resources, a large series of publications, and workshops and seminars for students and teachers in elementary and secondary schools across Canada and around the globe."
